Rinato il "Bove": primo campo base in Antartide

Trieste, 09 marzo 2016 - Il 26-27 e 28 febbraio, fino al 30 marzo è attivo il callsign speciale II3BOVE per celebrare il radioamatore Renato Cepparo (I2VZP) che, dalla Valle Italia in Antartide, trasmise dal neocostruito Campo Giacomo Bove il 20 gennaio 1976 con nominativo speciale I2SR. La base fu demolita un mese dopo dall'Armada Argentina. La vicenda, da quarant'anni, è volutamente dimenticata: caso moderno di damnatio memoriae di Stato ed internazionale. A Fermo (FM) presso la splendida Villa Vitali del Museo Polare, si è celebrato il Quarantennale della base. Grazie al Resto del Carlino (nella persona di Fabrizio Zeppilli) per la cortese pubblicazione ed a tutte le autorità interventute. Continua in calce.
